In South Africa, discovered the ancient city of the people of Tswana, in which 10,000 people lived

With this equipment, unknown Mayan cities in the jungles of Central America have already been discovered, and not so long ago, archaeologists announced a new sensational find. This time the news came from South Africa, where before the advent of Europeans there were large cities about which almost nothing was known to modern science.

Scientists from the University of Witwatersrand (South Africa) investigated the Johannesburg area, in the suburbs of which traces of an ancient prosperous city were discovered. According to historians, the city of Queneng was located in this place from the 15th to the 19th centuries. Before the Europeans arrived, the people of Tswana lived on these lands, who built this city. Representatives of this people are quite numerous today. About 5 million Tswans live in South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe, but, of course, after the Europeans arrived, significant changes took place in their lives.
