In July, the first biblical-themed religious park called Ark Encounter opened in Williamstown, Kentucky, USA. Perhaps this place can rightfully claim to be one of the most unusual theme parks in the world. Its main attraction was an exact full-size copy of the famous Noah's Ark. The author of the idea of ​​creating such a legendary exhibit is the head of the Christian organization "Genesis Answers" Cam Hyun. He assures that the 155-meter ark was built strictly to those sizes that are mentioned in the Bible.

The implementation of such a grandiose and large-scale project required a very tidy sum - $ 100 million. Ham had no such means, and he decided to turn to the world, hoping for the help of people in such a charitable undertaking. That is exactly what happened. The construction budget consists almost entirely of donations, only 18 million are funds allocated by the state.

It took about six years to create the park, and now it was able to receive its first visitors. Going inside the ark, you can see many exhibits that embody the atmosphere of the time of Noah. Here are cells with models of various animals, including dinosaurs and unicorns. According to the organizers, a curious attraction in the first year of operation will attract about two million visitors.
