16-year-old Australian conquered the South and North Poles and put in place sexists

16-year-old Australian skier Jade Hamister is one of the coolest teenagers of our time. After a grueling 37-day trip to Antarctica, she became the first so young person in history who managed to make the so-called "polar hat-trick." It includes overcoming the North and South poles, as well as the ice sheet of Greenland. The girl not only went down in history thanks to this journey, but she was also able to put her detractors very nicely and witty.

A couple of years ago, speaking at TEDx, Hamister talked about her plans for a “polar hat trick” and encouraged other young girls to follow their dreams as well. Despite the fact that at that time she was no longer a novice at the North Pole, and her achievements in sports were very impressive, there were people who regularly made insulting jokes and sexist remarks about the girl. One of the most popular sayings addressed to Hamister was the words of the guys: “Better make me a sandwich!” And so, having fulfilled her dream in January of this year, the skier was able to adequately respond to these offensive attacks.

Without outside help, Jade began and completed her victorious journey. At the South Pole, Hamister took a triumphant photograph, holding a plate of sandwich in her hands. "I made you a sandwich, - the girl turned to the trolls. - You only need to get to the South Pole to eat it. ".

"The past few years have been filled with crazy new experiences.- says Hamister. - An experience that changed me and my soul. New places on my map, new smells, new tastes, new friends, new cultures and a new way of thinking. I pushed myself away from what I once considered my limits, and challenged what was previously considered impossible for young girls. ".
