What is dangerous shooting at the airport

The comrade decided to pump over the rights and began to shoot on the phone in response to "rude treatment of airport workers." He was immediately accepted for filming in the restricted area, the family eventually flew to the states without him, and the guy was released only after some time, after he paid a fine of $ 2,700.

In fact, it is far from always that shooting in defense of one's own rightness may be legal. The guy, apparently, got used to high democracy in his country and did not take into account that in other countries the rules and laws can be very different. And sometimes downloading rights is more expensive for yourself. And much more expensive, it’s good that I got off with a fine, I would have been in North Korea, I could have received a life sentence ...

So, the essence of the situation.

59-year-old Joseph Lee, who lives in Texas, went to Thailand with his son Jonathon. They returned home with a change in Abu Dhabi (strange comrades, in the United States a lot of planes fly from Asia through Tokyo, Singapore and Bangkok, too).

In order to pass the time before the flight, the men decided to take a walk around Dubai, so before boarding the flight they had to undergo pre-flight screening and passport control again. The son did not attract the attention of the employees, and Joseph was recalled for a more detailed examination. At the same time, Jonathan was not allowed to wait for his father in the search area.

Already at the gate, Lee Jr. received a call: Joseph said that he was arrested for filming. He managed to add that he turned on the camera in response to ill-treatment by security officers. Since then, there was no connection with Joseph. The young man had no choice but to fly home.

On November 28, it became known that Joseph Lee was fined 10,000 dirhams ($ 2.7 thousand) and was deported after spending 10 days in the UAE prison.

The whole problem is that shooting in the inspection area and at passport control is always and everywhere strictly prohibited, regardless of the country. Even if you try to assert your rights in this way.

By the way, I imagine if this would happen in the United States. There the guy could really thunder behind bars, the American security at airports do not stand on ceremony at all ...
