In Africa, an elephant shot during a hunt killed a hunter by falling on it.

Theunis Botha is a famous 51-year-old large animal hunter. This man, originally from Johannesburg (South Africa), recently held his last hunt, which ended in a terrible tragedy for him.

Botha led a group of hunters in Guay (Zimbabwe) when they saw a herd of elephants. Sensing danger, three animals attacked the hunters, and Botha opened fire. However, he did not notice the fourth elephant coming up to him from the side.

The animal lifted the man with a trunk, but at that moment another hunter shot an elephant. A huge creature collapsed right on Theunis and crushed him. Theunis Botha was also known for hunting lions and leopards. He left a wife and five children.
