A photographer travels around the world and shows how old cinemas look bewitching

A few decades ago, the opening of the cinema could breathe life into an entire urban area. However, with the development and popularization of TV, many cinema halls were in danger of closing. For over sixteen years, Stephan Zaubitzer from France has traveled all over the world and has been shooting movie theaters. He took photos in the USA, India, Egypt, Morocco, under his close attention various cinemas - from small open-air to huge halls with columns and velvet drapery. The Cinémas project conveys the flavor and atmosphere of buildings into which architects have invested all the taste of their time. Saubitser is confident that the show begins long before the film is shown, still on the way to the cinema building.
