Yakut realities: a photographer from Yakutia shows how he lives here in winter and not only

Yakutia is a very unusual region, which often inspires reporting and street photographers. Many admit that it is especially interesting to film here in winter, although this task is not an easy one, because Yakutia is known throughout the world for its extreme weather conditions in the cold season. Usually in the winter months the air temperature here reaches minus 40-45 ° C, but life does not stop from this. Everything is taking its course, while for most people from other regions and countries it is difficult to imagine how it is possible to exist in such a climate.

It is this, the ordinary life of the inhabitants of Yakutia, shown in his shots by the local photographer Alexei Vasiliev. Of course, in his collections there are photographs not only of the Yakut winter, he photographs on his native expanses all year round. But, like many photographers, he admits that winter and its realities are of most interest to him.
