But this is not all: fresh water in the hotel is obtained from sea water through the operation of a desalination plant, and the hotel management takes an active part in environmental projects, in particular, 80 thousand trees were grown with Hacienda Tres Rios funds.

The organizers of this hotel took care of its environmental friendliness at the design stage, because it is built of concrete, in which fly ash is present. Thus, the hotel contributed to the disposal of waste from burning coal. In addition, the heating in the rooms only works when there are guests in them, and when they exit, a signal from the key card is received and the heaters cease to function.

Engineers were able to reduce energy consumption in the building by 20%: on the facade of the building there are special panels that reflect light and prevent overheating of the premises.
