Hotel Long Beach Golf & Spa Mauritius opens its own art gallery

Long Beach is a famous five-star hotel on the east coast of Mauritius, located in Belle-Mare. As part of its rebranding, in collaboration with local and international artists, the hotel organizes an exhibition of contemporary Mauritian art.

The lobby of the hotel has been converted into an art gallery, which displays art and paintings exhibited by The Third Dot's curatorial platform throughout the year. The Third Dot develops and promotes cross-cultural projects in the field of art and design, bringing together artists, brands and galleries from around the world.

Now, during the registration process at the hotel, Long Beach guests become visitors to an art gallery and can admire various exhibits or even purchase their favorite works.

This islet of culture at Long Beach, dubbed The Passage, features works by twenty-eight contemporary Mauritian artists. This generation of people who are on a daily search, inexorably destroying taboos and writing their story, because only by shifting boundaries and experimenting daily, the artist is able to awaken the magic of art.
